The Story
Euro 96 was the first sight of what France were about to become. Aimé Jacquet's side went out to the Czech Republic on penalties at Old Trafford, with a 23-year-old Zinedine Zidane already running games from the middle and Thuram, Deschamps and Blanc behind him.
